Pink Velour Crape Myrtle
Pink Velour Crape Myrtle
Pink Velour is celebrated for its profusion of large clusters (panicles) of vivid, bright pink flowers. The crinkled, crepe-paper-like blooms appear from mid-summer and continue into the fall, providing a very long season of intense color. One of its most distinctive features, however, is its foliage. The new leaves emerge with a deep reddish-purple color and mature to a rich, dark green with a reddish cast, especially in full sun. This dark foliage provides a striking backdrop for the flowers and adds a bold element to the landscape.
