Lynwood Gold Forsythia
Lynwood Gold Forsythia
The flowers are its most recognized feature. In early to mid-spring, before the leaves emerge, the bare branches are completely covered in an abundance of sunny, deep golden-yellow, bell-shaped flowers. The color is often more vibrant and the flowers are more profuse than those of older forsythia cultivars. After the flowering period, the foliage emerges. The leaves are a bright green throughout the summer, and they turn a pleasant yellowish-green or purplish color in the fall.
