The 'Ryusen' Japanese Maple is a structural masterpiece. Discovered in Japan, its name translates to "dragon fountain," which is a perfect description of how it grows. While there are many weeping Japanese maples, 'Ryusen' is entirely unique. Most weeping varieties grow out into wide, dome-shaped umbrellas. 'Ryusen' has standard, star-shaped five-lobed leaves and weeps strictly vertically straight down, like a waterfall of foliage.
