The Bright ‘N Tight Carolina Laurel is upright, compact, dense, and tends to fill out to the ground. Its foliage has deep green, leathery leaves that are retained year-round. New growth often has a slight reddish tint. Clusters of small, fragrant white flowers appear in mid-spring. Small, showy, dark black berries mature in mid-summer and are valuable food for birds. Excellent choice for a fast-growing, dense privacy screen or hedge due to its compact habit.
