Volcano Cherry Laurel
Volcano Cherry Laurel
The Volcano Cherry Laurel is a relatively new and exciting cultivar of the English Laurel. It is specifically bred to offer a columnar or narrow, upright growth habit, making it perfect for tight spaces where a traditional wide hedge or screen won't fit. It has very attractive, glossy, dark green, leathery leaves. New growth in spring emerges with a striking bronze or reddish tint before maturing to deep green. Upright clusters of small, fragrant, creamy white flowers appear in mid-spring. Small, showy black berries follow the flowers in summer, attracting birds.
