Petite Plum Ninebark - 5 Gallon Container
Petite Plum Ninebark - 5 Gallon Container
The Petite Plum Ninebark is mounding and slightly arching. It has a graceful, fountain-like shape that is less "stiff" than the smaller dwarf varieties. In spring, it emerges with a coppery-bronze tint, maturing to a deep, consistent plum-burgundy in summer. In the fall, it maintains its dark purple/burgundy hues. Clusters of small, pale pink flowers are produced in late spring and attractive red seed pods in summer that eventually fade to tan in winter.
