While standard Liriope has pale lavender flowers that can sometimes get lost in the foliage, Royal Purple has a much higher pigment concentration. The spikes are a true, royal violet. Unlike Creeping Liriope, Royal Purple is a clumper. It stays exactly where you plant it and won't invade your lawn or other flower beds.
