LowBoy Pyracantha
LowBoy Pyracantha
Lowboy Pyracantha is a low-growing, vigorous, spreading cultivar of scarlet firethorn. It's prized as a thorny, evergreen to semi-evergreen groundcover or low shrub that provides excellent coverage, seasonal interest with white spring flowers, glossy foliage, and especially bright orange berries in fall and winter that attract birds and add vivid color. Unlike the taller, more upright varieties (like Mohave or Yukon Belle), Lowboy is specifically bred for a prostrate, wide-spreading habit — making it ideal where you want height control without sacrificing the classic firethorn show.
