This variety stands out as one of the shorter and more manageable Russian Sages. It features finely dissected, aromatic, silvery-gray foliage that provides excellent texture and a soft, hazy look even when not in bloom. The real show comes from midsummer through fall, with tall panicles (up to 20 inches) of tiny lavender-blue flowers held in smoky purple calyxes. The blooms create a cloud-like effect that's incredibly attractive to pollinators like bees, and the calyxes maintain color and interest well into autumn.
