Autumn Fire Sedum is a robust, low-maintenance perennial that is an absolute workhorse in the landscape. Massive, broccoli-like flower heads emerge in late summer as a pale pink, gradually deepening to a vibrant rosy-salmon, and finally maturing to a rich, rust-red or coppery-bronze in autumn. In winter, the dried flower heads turn a deep chocolate brown and stay rigid through the winter, providing winter interest, excellent architectural structure and food for birds when left uncut.
