Anthony Waterer Spirea - 3 Gallon Container
Anthony Waterer Spirea is a popular, compact deciduous shrub prized for its showy summer flowers, colorful foliage, and low-maintenance nature. New spring leaves emerge reddish-purple, mature to blue-green (sometimes with variegation), and turn vibrant yellow, orange, or reddish-purple in fall. The leaves are oval-lanceolate and toothed. Flat-topped or domed clusters up to 4–6 inches wide of carmine red to rosy pink flowers appear in late spring to midsummer (often June–August), attracting butterflies and pollinators. Deadheading can encourage a second flush.
