This shrub is durable, low-maintenance, and reliable. New growth emerges a glowing orange to peachy-orange or pinkish-orange in spring, maturing to bright yellow, chartreuse, or yellow-green with contrasting new tips. Massive clusters of bright pink to magenta-pink blooms, noted as the largest and pinkest among many Japanese spireas. It blooms primarily in late spring to early/midsummer, attracting pollinators.
