Gold Mound Spirea is a popular compact deciduous shrub prized for its bright golden-yellow foliage in spring, soft pink flower clusters, and easy-care nature. New leaves emerge bright gold to chartreuse in spring, often with bronze/red tints. They mellow to yellowish-green in summer and turn attractive shades of yellow, orange, or red in fall. Flat-topped clusters of small pink blooms appear in late spring to early summer.
