Little Henry Dwarf Virginia Sweetspire - 3 Gallon Container
Little Henry Dwarf Virginia Sweetspire - 3 Gallon Container
This compact Sweetspire flowers in late spring to early summer (May-June in Oklahoma) and it produces abundant, slender, bottlebrush-like racemes (about 3-6 inches long, often 4 inches) of tiny, creamy-white flowers. They're slightly fragrant (sweet scent), profuse and very attractive to pollinators like bees and butterflies—often covering the plant densely. The foliage has glossy, deep green leaves in summer and turn brilliant shades of red, scarlet, garnet, orange and yellow in fall—one of the longest-lasting and most vibrant fall displays among shrubs. The color holds well into late autumn or early winter.
