Blue Beaked Yucca
Blue Beaked Yucca
The Blue Beaked Yucca is one of the most ornamental and sought-after desert plants due to its striking architectural form and shimmering blue-gray foliage. Unlike many other yucca species, its leaves are flexible and less hazardous, making it a favorite for modern and xeriscape gardens. It forms a perfectly spherical crown of narrow, stiff, silver-blue leaves. As it matures, it develops a thick trunk (or multiple trunks) covered in a "skirt" of old, dried leaves. In late spring or early summer, a large stalk emerges from the center, bearing a dense cluster of creamy white, bell-shaped flower
