Carissa Holly
Carissa Holly
The Carissa Holly is a highly popular and versatile evergreen shrub cherished for its compact, dense growth and unique, mostly spineless foliage. The leaves are glossy, dark green and somewhat rectangular in shape, often with a single spine at the tip (though sometimes entirely spineless, especially on mature plants). Unlike many hollies, the leaves are not prickly along the margins. Inconspicuous small, white flowers appear in spring.
